Holy shit. Anyone that methodical in their lying of such a bullshit situation is indeed totally up for debate, in their entirety. I’ve known people like this…very very bad. If anything I’d say this is blatant evidence to support Elon just being a face to the money(Thiel?). The immediate time line… gets crushed on h1b, pivots to British rape gangs…now this video game scandal and he throws up some roman’s at the inauguration.

He’s not our guy at all. Total fraud.

Obsessive vanity is common among other great figures,

Napoleon would read 5+ newspapers daily and have informants among the commoners just to give regular updates on his popularity

JP Morgan was obsessed with photo-shopping his weird nose in newspapers photos before they went to print

Daniel Ludwig “the invisible billionaire” paid millions of stipends to PR firms and newspapers to NOT do any reporting about him

He even had an autist sperg out as an old man in his 80s were he literally ran into traffic to run away from someone trying to get his picture

When you compare Elon to historically powerful capitalist figures intertwined with the state like Carnegie, Rockefeller, Crassus or JP Morgan. He’s definitely as famous, but I don’t think hes anywhere near as influential in the apparatus of institutional power. What banks does Elon control? What judges are in his pocket?? A lot of climbing still to do before he can join their ranks.

I would argue that Marc Andreessen is playing the game much more effectively, and rising extremely fast. The Trump Admin has A16z personnel all over the place

Who does Elon have in his bench, where are his lieutenants? I haven’t seen much discussion regarding this. From the Walter Isaacson biography it seems he churns and burns his underlings. No one has stuck around 10+ years under his patronage, expect for Thiel who was a patron above Musk.

I might just not know enough about Elon’s internal world but that’s my perspective..

The oppressive regulation regime in both public and private formal systems and informal business interactions is so deep and widespread that no one could overcome that moat for decades except an autist with unlimited risk tolerance. So in many ways Musk was like those first explorers/prospectors who stumbled through a jungle village to pickup baseball sized gemstones and gold nuggets

That’s not to discount his skills and ability but a lot of his success has been simply right place right time+connections

If Musks fails it will a mirror of Napoleon’s downfall, hyper-fixation on marginal issues that are widely unpopular and aren’t even remotely strategically relevant but alienate huge allies

You can’t sperg out while wielding the ring of power, it will reject you.
